Cleveland, Ohio – Save subtlety for wine pairings and picking the right cummerbund for your formal attire. When horsepower’s on the line, excess is the name of the game.

The 460hp that the 5L V-8 in the Ford Mustang GT can pump out is nice… for delivering invitations to a garden party. For those who want real power, the automaker has turned to longtime partner Roush Performance to generate just a bit more oomph. With a Roush supercharger, that 5L V-8 producers 700hp – perfect for donating a quarter inch of rubber to the asphalt any time you want to press that accelerator pedal.

And hey, performance isn’t just for pony cars. Drop the Roush supercharger onto the 5L in an F-150 pickup, and you’ll have 640hp and 600 lb-ft of torque – enough to break some 0-to-60 record while hauling a small boat.

A performance kit comes with all installation hardware and an exclusive performance calibration. The installation of this kit does not void new vehicle warranties.

“Our teams collaborated to create the most highly engineered, tested and performing supercharger kit on the market,” said Jack Roush, chairman, board of directors, Roush Performance. “The combination of the 2018 5L engine and our all-new, fully integrated 2650 supercharger system yields simply incredible, no-compromise performance.”
